Longest paper

wait did you teacher assign it one day and say it was due the next? then i could see it as a joke, but if he/she gave you a reasonable amount of time and then told you it was a joke, i would be so mad.

25 pages down to the last line on an APUSH research paper. And that was only because I managed to fit about half of the paper in the footnotes. The bibliography (not counted in the 25 pages) was 9 pages alone. And the whole thing was on the stimulating topic of the ignorance of regionalism in Iran.

10 or 11ish double spaced on biomes...
yeah, lame compared to you 30 page folks.

He said it would be due in a week. I started writing it, and loved it so much I just finished it off. Spent all day on it. I can't hate that teacher though, as he's such a big boost to my life(he was only friend teacher, one that you can talk to w/o the inherent "I'm better than you thing."

Also the toughest teacher I've ever had.

ya iran! (chars)

i tried to write a book once. 35 pgs single spaced, 11 font.

but i never finished. :(

For one assignment alone... probably no more than 10-15ish. Can you say group 4?

However, my final portfolio for International Politics class totaled at 46 pages single spaced. :) That, and I'm still working on my EE. We'll see where it goes...

lynda, what is your EE on?
maths, I was going to do a science, but got too lazy and didnt want to move all the equipments from another school over to my school. (and I didn't have access to a lab) so I decided to stick with math

15 single spaced paper on prenatal diagnosis - focusing on amniocentesis, CVS and AFP. ethics and human demands and stuff like that.

I quite enjoyed working on it.
I like doing papers because i feel professional and stuff lol

purely words:

15 pages on bikelane (yeah, bike lanes..beat that)
18 pages economics of internet piracy

research papers:
80 page IB comp sci dossier (more like dossiHELL)

Silly comparisons. It's not the length, it's the quality of the content.

Oh, and a 54 pager on the entrance of Japan in to the UNSC from a game theoretical perspective.

And since my content was OBVIOUSLY better (wink), I win.

Probably five pages max. I can't really remember. The english department at our school is so bad, it isn't even funny. I was looking forward to taking AP Language and Composition at our school, thinking it would finally teach me ENGLISH. But nope, I was wrong. I have learned almost nothing in that class. We barely write essays at all, and the teacher does not help us at all in improving our essays. Looking forward the AP Literature next year, heard the teacher's tough and the students actually learn...

History, we write essays, but not very long ones.

34 double spaced
European Lit
Junior Year

10 pages on the effect of handedness on the brain - 9th grade biology

32 I guess....on the French Colonial Empire...damn Mexicans.

around 40 pages for the IB extended essay, weekly i write about three 3-4 pages papers for various assignments and projects...

no ********ting going on in this thread

thats a lot of stars...

woah, this is crazy. I can't believe that you all have written such long papers. The longest paper that I wrote for high school was only 6 pages, but it was darn good.

21 pages for English As Second Language (ESL) final project...

It was about autobiography.
