Looking back on the SSAT, did anyone feel as if the math was easier on the practice books( Princeton, SSAT.com, Pearson, etc) than the actual test? Like there are harder problems or different concepts that was not on those practice books that appeared on the SSAT. From my experience, that was the case. What are your thoughts?
Actually, for me the real SSAT was much easier and I also did better. The practice tests definitely prepared me for the worst though… Not sure if it makes a difference but I took the test last year
Math on the SSAT was easier but I feel like it was only because I take advanced math courses so x)
I take Algebra 2 and found SSAT math didn’t rly touch upon anything above Geometry. ISEE math on the other hand was a bit harder and (last year) had some Algebra 2 and above content…
I thought the practice books were good for the SSAT but a little lacking (in terms of math) for the ISEE… Then again I used the books as practice for specific areas and rly just focused on the strategies given…
