I have attended a community college and I also got an A.A. degree. Also, I attended a University for a year and a half as well and got almost a full minor in psychology. Plus, I also took some Information Science courses. I am looking for a good ONLINE college that will not have set class times and that I can look over the materials anytime I want and take the tests at almost anytime I want. I mean for that matter, I have taken online classes in the past, and you would have all week to do the work, and it would be due on like Sunday or something at a certain time. However, I am looking for some type of degree like an information science degree or web design degree (that also teaches you some programming as well) that is a bachelor’s degree. I am not looking for like another associates or a web certificate. I also am looking for a place that will really TEACH ME A SKILL. I am not looking for a piece of paper, but am instead looking to learn HOW TO PROGRAM, and HOW to do web development. I am also looking for a school with a decent online tutoring program that will help me if I get lost. I find that there are two many colleges that treat school like it’s academic Sparta or something and just say, “Figure it out yourself”. I’m looking for an online college program that actually will help you if you get lost. Please recommend me a good college.

Penn State World Campus offers an Information Science major: http://www.worldcampus.psu.edu/degrees-and-certificates/information-sciences-and-technology-bachelors/overview
University of Maryland University College offers a number of majors that might interest you: http://www.umuc.edu/academic-programs/bachelors-degrees/index.cfm
Start with those two. These are long-standing, well-respected distance education programs. Contact both of them, and find out what they have to offer you.
I’d also suggest that you re-visit the offerings at your former university. There may be something there that would work for you.
Thanks I will check out both of those colleges. My former institution won’t help me much though because they have no online classes. Thanks for those two though.
You also should check all of the public universities in your own home state. Many do have some online options, and the tuition/fees should be less expensive for you.
