I just finished my B.M. program in Piano Performance, and I will continue my graduate school next year. During my past four years, I started to interested in Jazz music, since I play piano, I’m really fascinated by some fabulous Jazz pianist, like James Book and Bill Evans. I’ve been classically trained since I was 5, but I never really play any Jazz music. I’m thinking about go for a Jazz program after I finish my M.M. program in Piano Performance. I’m wondering what will be the best school or program for me, what kind of degree should I persue. I would like to hear any suggestion to my situation now.
