Jazz Graduate Degree Options...?

I am an undergraduate student majoring in instrumental/jazz performance (saxophone) and I was thinking about taking a few years off after I complete my degree - I am a junior and I am on track to graduate in Spring '09.

After those few years to practice and do some gigging and gain life experience, I am thinking about enrolling in a music graduate program with am emphasis in jazz. Possibly pedagogy/performance/composition - not education, not classical.

Any suggestions?

(I like the Northern US)

Manhattan, Juilliard and NEC all ofter masters programs in jazz.

University of Michigan has a Masters in Improvisation that has a lot of focus on contemorary improvisation.

University of North Texas, pretty much the top jazz school in the country, offers a Master of Music and also an Artist Certificate in Jazz.
