I just found out how much it will cost to attend college, and as a result I'm wanting to get a part-time job over the summer to help pay some of the cost. Right now I'm waiting for an opening at the local library, because they pay well, and it's not a job I'd mind. Is there any other jobs that would be worth checking into? I don't want to take a job that relates to folding clothes and working with food. I'll be majoring in econ, so the financial area is of interest. What should I consider looking into?

as far as summer jobs goes theres very few that are actually good. You probly want to stay away from retail, i work in retail after school and it sucks having to deal with *****y customers. If u like to be outside try your park district, its hard work but you get paid preety well. Alos since your interested in finance you could look at working at a bank (not sure how they are on hiring summer help though)
