Looking for full ride, full tuition, or other large scholarship that do not require SAT

Looking for full ride, full tuition, or other large scholarship that do not require SAT, as in based off of cumulative GPA only

Do you have 0 EFC? I have not heard of any colleges that go only on gpa except possibly the ‘meets full need’ test optional colleges that determine you have comprehensive need, and even then there may be a loan or student work expectation. Maybe others have.

Here is the list of test optional/test flexible colleges. You can check if any have full scholarships on their financial aid pages. Those are hard to find.
<a href=“ACT/SAT Optional List - Fairtest”>http://www.fairtest.org/university/optional

Did you try the ACT?

I doubt that you’re going to find one based on GPA alone. There is so much grade inflation and “light schedules” out there that there are too many kids with perfect GPAs. Test scores are used for merit because it tends to clarify a student’s strength.

UMinnesota has a scholarship that cuts tuition to the in-state rate if you are in the top 5% by class rank. That may be the best that you can do.

Unless you have a $0 family contribution per the college, and they meet full need (very competitive schools) this will be a hard thing to find.

What was your SAT score…or ACT? And what is your GPA?

Look for GPA only scholarships. There are some out there. For valedictorians, for NHS members, etc. Most are individual to colleges. Need to rev up those search engines, check on Fastweb and other scholarship sites.

Late but Gates Millennium does not require SAT scores. You have to have at least a 3.3 GPA and be one of the URMs specified.
