Looking for good art schools along the east coast.

Hey all. I'm searching for good art schools along the east coast, specifically ones with a strong graphic design program. I've already looked at MICA, RISD, and University of the Arts (and ruled out SCAD + Parsons + Pratt), but I really would love to know about and look at more. I'd also preferably love to stay north of Maryland. Any suggestions? I'm not an absolutely amazing artist, but I just attended a 6 week program at RISD over the summer and want to go to a good school with a very nice reputation.

GPA: 3.9
SAT: 670 Reading 660 Math 660 Writing
4 on AP English exam.
Fairly strong portfolio.
Money not an issue.

Any suggestions welcome.

Check out Syracuse, Carnegie Mellon, and Boston U. If I were in your shoes, I think I'd prefer doing graphic design at a larger university just in case I changed my mind and wanted to transfer schools without leaving the campus.

I don't know how well-known BU is for its arts program, but I have a lot of friends who were interested in CMU and Syracuse for combining liberal arts and fine arts.

Well, it's not the east coast per se,but look at University of Cincinnati. They have a strong program coupled with a top notch coop program.

RIT, Alfred (NY),Suny Purchase and American

Nah, I definitely want to go to art school. ;D But thanks for the recommendations.

Check out Mason Gross (art school within Rutgers), Steinhardt at NYU, and the Art Institute of Boston, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston). Not sure about the last three, but Mason Gross is a great school.
