Looking for Good IR Schools in a City

Hey guys! I’m a junior in high school, and have been researching schools to apply to this summer. I want to major in International Relations, so am looking at schools that have good programs in that area. Probably my top choice as of now is Georgetown’s SFS, but I’m really interested in finding some other similar schools that might be more of a low match that could offer me some merit aid

Apparently most of my thing didn’t post, so here’s the whole thing.

Hey guys! I’m a junior in high school, and have been researching schools to apply to this summer. I want to major in International Relations, so am looking at schools that have good programs in that area. Probably my top choice as of now is Georgetown’s SFS, but I’m really interested in finding some other similar schools that might be more of a low match that could offer me some merit aid. I’m interested in finding more top schools too, but mt family income is 200k+ (aka no financial aid), so merit aid is a priority.

I’m really only looking at schools on the East Coast, as I don’t want to go too far from home. I really want to be in a city/urban environment, or at least close to one. I’d prefer a private college that’s medium sized 5k-20k, but that’s not as much of a concern as long as the school isn’t super small. I really don’t want a social scene that’s run by fraternities/sororities, and I also would rather not be on a super conservative or religious campus.

I’m a URM female, and I have an ACT score of 34. I have a 4.0 (for now lol) and I’m taking multiple AP and honors classes. My EC’s are okay, mostly musical groups and honors, a few awards (not national), and some academic and service groups/clubs.

Thank you guys so much for your help! Any suggestions are appreciated!

American University, George Washington University, Macalaster, Dickinson (isn’t in city)

Northeastern University is right in the heart of Boston and has a great program with international co-ops for great practical experience in addition to a solid academic IR program. Merit is there but highly competitive.
