Looking for good school for acting training/theater/film

<p>hi.</p>

<p>looking for a good college to go to for acting and for theater, to get a BA. i'd like to be on either the east coast (new york, boston, philly, etc..) or west coast (san fran, northern cali, LA, maybe). maybe chicago?</p>

<p>i'd be coming in as a sophomore transfer.
i want to eventually act in film and television, but theater seems to be the standard training.</p>

<p>prefer to be in a city.</p>

<p>decent sized student body (2,000 +)</p>

<p>wondering if anyone could throw me some names and reccomendations.</p>

<p>i have the same interests you do:</p>

<p>west coast: USC (especially film), UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, San Diego State, UC San Diego, UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton </p>

<p>east coast: NYU, Fordham, Boston University, Emerson</p>

<p>Harvard and Yale have really good drama programs as well.</p>
