<p>How and where can I find more information on colleges besides what the websites, college guides, etc. says. I want to learn more about different schools and decide whether I would fit in better there. </p>

<p>Finding their livejournal / myspace communities would be the best bet to figure out what "life" is like there.</p>
<p>visit with a current student or just plain visit the area. immerse urself, if youve got the time/$. second best option...talk to alumni/current students thru email or post.</p>
