Hello,

I'm going to attempt to be as honest as possible here - I do not know much about the business world, so I am looking for some basic information about getting started...

I am about to graduate from an excellent undergraduate institution. I majored in History and should end up with about a 3.3 gpa. I chose that major because I thought I wanted to be a high school teacher/coach. But I seem to have lost my passion for that path (and my grades have suffered as a result). I've been taking a lot of personality tests lately, and they all seem to indicate that my skills would be best suited to the business world (INTJ, "The Executive"). I seem to agree, so I am looking into it...

It seems like the key to getting into a top notch business school is figuring out which area you like best, getting a job in that area, and doing very well (and in my case, perhaps, getting a masters degree in that area as well). I'm having a tough time even finding out what all of the areas are, however. So, where should I start. Is there a general list of majors that business schools offer? If I could figure out what the different options were, I could look into them, and make a choice.

Thank you very much for any help!!

Sincerely,
