Looking for some realistic opinions?

Alright, everyone and their mother has one of these threads going, so, why not me? I'm looking for some honest advice, even if it's not what I want to hear. I want to transfer as a junior to George Washington University, specifically, the Elliot School of International Affairs. Here we go:

Community College

GPA: 3.85 (only two B's, and they were in math classes, which is mostly irrelevant to my intended major. Hopefully, they will take this into consideration.)

Professor LOR: Although I didn't see it (obviously), I know it's absolutely stellar. She basically told me so.

College Official's Report: This is weird because I don't know the Dean of Students on a personal level, so his personal observations of me are essentially nonexistent. However, this is, I'm sure, a common issue with student/college official relationships. I have a clean academic and disciplinary record, though.

Essay: Yet to be written. It will be a masterpiece. (can you smell that confidence?)

Extra Curricular's: None

By the way, I'm 29. I'm not sure of that's likely to help or hurt my chances, but I figured I'd throw that out there as a factor. What do you think? Am I in? Thanks.

ECs dont really matter so much when you transfer, and your gpa is good, so if the LOR is great and the essay is a masterpiece then i dont think you have to worry about getting in at all. However, the fact that youre at a community college hurts your chances significantly. Good luck
