<p>I will be applying to colleges next year and want a good physics program. Right now I am looking into Harvey Mudd and Caltech. I might also apply to MIT what other schools are there out there with good physics programs but not quite as good as caltech MIT?</p>
<p>Harvard, Cornell, Princeton, Yale, Berkeley, Stanford are about as good as MIT + CalTech. Then perhaps Chicago, Illinois, Columbia, Yale. Then U Penn, Washington U St Louis, Wisconsin, Michigan, Maryland, Texas Austin, Carnegie Mellon. I have probably left out a few.</p>
