Looking for volunteers to read my transfer essay

So I'm finishing up my second draft of my "What do pictures want" essay and I got some pretty good comments from an alumnus who read over it and offered some quality advice. I'm hoping to get some volunteers who would like to read my essay and offer comments ESPECIALLY if they are good with grammar/syntax because I'm pretty bad at it.

Before you read it I just want to point out that It's probably not very "Chicago-y" I really hate the idea that many applicants seem to have on here that your essays have to read a certain way to be considered as such and have tried to worry more about my essay showing ME than being "Chicago-y".

None of the ideas presented in the essay are particularly new, which is intentional, I was worried far more about showing who I am than trying to fit some mold or reinvent the wheel.

Be as callous or sensitive as you want; I know my essay probably isn't going to be the best one the Adcom's will read this year but it certainly isn't going to be the worst either. Believe me, I can handle harsh criticism as long as it's well-intentioned.

Ok, now that I'm done apologizing(lol) for an essay you haven't even read let me just thank anyone who offers to read it and offer comments. Please either pm me your e-mail or put it in this thread.

Also: please don't ask for my essay if you're applying for transfer to Uchicago this year as well, I think the reason for this should be self-explanatory.

Thanks again!

I'd be happy to have a look.
