Looking forward to _____ at Princeton!

Just for fun, and cuz I see this board lagging and dying, name one thing youre looking forward to in each category! lets hear it.

Academically: Strange though this may seem, I want to write my first all-nighter paper...I know I know, its amazing I havent, but oh well.

Extra-Curricularly: Trying to walk on to a varsity team

Socially: Prospect Avenue, the street.

Academically: first huge lecture, meeting profs and talking with them about their research, and studying psychology

Extra-Curricularly: Trying to walk on to a varsity team - :)

Socially: staying up late debating intellectual subjects.... and the rooming experience.. oh yeah, and frist too :p

Academically, I hope I get this specific English class that looks amazing.

Extra-Curricularly, I've always wanted to play badminton so I hope I can play on the club badminton team

Socially, all those late night chats at frist that we've been looking forward to!

Well.......

I just want to get out of this dreadful times of nothing going on. Graduated in Feb. and have been doing almost nothing since :(

keepthefaith, do you know any websites for korean students who are going to come to princeton from korea this fall?? so I can like meet them online?? do you have cyworld? I have mine but i don't do it lol....too lazy
it would be good to know other korean ppl before I go to princeton this fall

bumpady dump

Academically: The HUM sequence, if I get in.

Extra-Curricularly: Definitely trying out for an a capella group, or at least hearing all of them sing...

Socially: Late night chats, here we come.

Academically: Listening to esteemed professors from all over the world, actually studying subjects I'm interested in; never having to take calculus again (WHICH I WON"T)

Extracurricular: Joining different clubs first week of school, specifically exploring the different ethnic clubs, getting involved in the political clubs (and possibly going to a protest)

Socially: Prospect Street, meeting people from all over, and party, party, party! (When we're not pulling all-night papers, that is...)

academically -- learning italian, taking biology again for the first time in yeeeears, and just overall taking stuff that i find interesting rahter than is required (cough, calculus can die)

extracurricularly -- getting back in karate, equestrian lessons, music lessons, walking on a varsity sport (do we know of any others actually aside from crew that are pretty good about walk ons, not that i'm shunnin crew, just curious tho b/c i wanted to try for the hockey team), finally plugging into a very active service group.. so much. i'm just so pumped overall

socially -- awwwwesome ppl experiences , the kind that define your life ya know?, going into the city and seeing broadways, stand up comedy, etc, just never being bored ...oh and if truth be told that statistic about 70% of princeton kids marrying each other is always in the back of my mind making me think that hte potential is great to have a romance there and yeah i'm a sucker for romance, but shh i didnt say that

haha yeah anyone seen that movie "What the #O@% do we know?" the part about addictions?

Heh, I'll answer this one for just my senior year:

Academically = Taking a mishmash of fun but mostly non-technical courses I know to be good, now that I'm done with my engineering requirements. Hopefully this will leave me relaxed and ready to deal with the behemoThesis. From my observations, doing a good job on the Thesis seems to be more important (to personal fulfillment, not to career prospects) than all of the courses in the senior year combined... so I want to have time and sanity enough to do a really good job. After my thesis is done, I hope to not have exams in either of my two classes... we shall see if that can be arranged. I need a break -- it's been a crazy three years.

Extracurricularly = Giving up all my positions to capable juniors at semester! I'll continue to be involved, but it will be so nice to step back. I might rejoin Ballroom Dance, as I need something to keep me moving and in shape. I might take voice lessons, as I'd like to be a less delinquent choir member this year. I also want to start writing more somehow or other -- might start submitting random articles to campus publications. I'll see who wants me. It's time to switch things up. Finally, I want to attend more random public lectures and seminars, and perfornmances. I still want to start a webcomic about Princeton life, but I really need to polish my drawing skills some more first.

Socially = Club-hopping on the Street. Late-night random conversations. Being a better friend to my best friends. Getting out more, and re-meeting my class. My world got smaller junior year, not bigger, because I was busy. I want to expand it back out to where it was after sophomore year. Senior year is about class bonding, kinda like it was in high school, and I'm most definitely ready for it. I am also ABSOLUTELY DETERMINED to have a very awesome birthday party next spring. (My birthday is always in the middle of exams, and I effectively haven't celebrated it since I was a freshman -- blah).

Zante -- which English class?
