Looking to study in the USA, help needed!

Hi!
I'm from England and I have just completed my GCSEs, and have also achieved an alevel in my mother tongue with an A grade (English is my second language but I am better at it than at my mother tongue). I will be studying my as levels this year and I will be studying English history, psychology and law. I am looking to go to college/university in America but I know that I have to take the SAT etc first. How Do I go about doing this? Any help such as how to apply for these exams and anything I which I need to know would be extremely useful as the websites have so much information using foreign terms!

Your questions are too broad.
Since you’ll be an international student, the first question is:
what’s your parents’ budget?
Have you taken a practice test (ACT/SAT)? If so, what’s your tentative score?
Be aware that the ACT Reading and Science tests have gotten progressively harder (both in content and in speed required to be completed).
What were your GCSE results and what subjects did you take?
Why do you want to attend an American college vs. a British one?
Answer these questions so that we can help you…
