Spent my first two years at the University of West Florida (enrollment 7,900) and I have decided that I really need to go to a big school with a football team. I have residency in three states (because of weird arrangements): FL, MI, and VA. My stats are not impressive, but not awful and the schools I am looking to transfer to are not especially selective (with the exception of UofM and UF, possibly).

My stats are as follows:
College GPA: 3.2
ACT: 28
SAT: 1870
No especially notable achievements on the side: played lacrosse in HS thats about it.

The schools I am looking into applying to are as follows:
In Florida:
Florida State
UF (reach, obviously.. but a definite rejection?)

In Michigan:
Michigan State
Michigan (reach, obviously.. but a definite rejection?)

Virginia:
Virginia Tech

Any input regarding my chances would be greatly appreciated. Somewhat Informed input, that is:) Thanks

Transferring is generally easier than HS admissions. SAT's, for all but the Ivyies, are pretty much irrellevant. Schools are more concerned with how you actually handled college work. Understandably, also, is that there are a lot fewer transfers than HS applicants, plus with big schools, even very good ones, lots of kids transfer OUT... That said, I'd roughly say you are probably in play with all the schools listed, even U-M.
