Is it going to look BAD if you take the SAT 4 times? Is it going to be one of the reasons why a school will reject you?

“Is it going to look BAD if you take the SAT 4 times?”

It might, but it depends not only on the school, but on the individual admissions officer. For many schools, it’s a non-issue: the computer automatically hides the lower scores.

“Is it going to be one of the reasons why a school will reject you?”

Highly unlikely even in extreme situations.

I would say taking SAT once and doing well really will make the scores shine. After that i think 2-4 times will look about the same and 3/4+ times is on the brink of looking bad but again not going to be a big deciding factor on where you want to go

It won
t look bad as long as you use score choice.Sending 1 score out of 11 and sending 1 score out of 1 is the same ==>college will receive the same piece of information…
However, it is not very likely to achieve big, drastic improvements…What I am trying is not to discourage you but to explain you things…
There are many people who score comperatively low (let
s say about 1800) on their first time.It could be because of everything - illness, bad day, headache… everything .
But on their second time they get 2000-2050,and on their third probably 2150-2200…

But if you once score 1650,then 1710,then 1770,is it worth it to keep trying. This,of course, doesn`t indicate that you are stupid and everything,it just says you are not good on standarized tests
