Yes. That was old data of FY09. Data of FY10 is quite different.

jtmoney,
I am looking for an MFA in film production. In India we have the 10+2+3 and 10+2+4 system.
This is basically … 10 years of school, 2 years of junior college and either 3 year degree or 4 year degree. At present I am in the third year of Bachelors of Mass Media which is a 3 year degree. In some colleges in USA they don’t accept the 10+2+3 format. But i confirmed with Chapman, and dey replied tht the 10+2+3 is acceptable there.

OCELITE,
Considering FILM SCHOOLS, i am now finding them more expensive than Full Sail and LAFS. I want to focus Mostly on SOUND. I am looking for film schools so that it would be helpful for me if i even understand other aspects of film i.e. editing, screenplay etc.
Also, i am unaware of any community or state colleges in US. Could u pls suggest a few?
Mostly in California.
Thnks.

Adi,
Sounds like you are looking more for a trade school than a liberal arts education. Do you realize that the campus of Full Sail is located in Florida and not in California? To attend Full Sail, you would either go to Florida in order to use their equipment, or to take their courses online. That would be kind of hard to get the real feel or the experience you need for your career goal. You would end up paying more and receive less in return in terms of value for quality time and education. They are a for profit trade school. I would be extra careful if I were you when it comes to for-profit institutions. Keep in mind that some of the for-profit schools’ credits are not transferable to other institutions due to accreditation issues. There’s a good reason why a non-profit institution is better, because their accreditation is transferable to other institutions of higher learning, as in Bachelor’s, or Master’s, or PhD level programs.

Here’s a full Sail review blog you might want to read before making your decision.
