<p>I have to agree with Melissa. I don’t think there should be such a thing as an “over-rated city”, much like an idea we simply buy into. Personally I would prefer NYC but I think LA has its own treasures, aside from the prototypical “LA is so materialistic” complaint, which I tend to believe is true…</p>
<p>I’d still love to visit LA - just to stalk the celebs.</p>
