Lost my motivation to study...

<p>As you know I am applying for PhD places, or was. I have started to doubt whether I really want a PhD. I enjoy my subjects, but after UG and PG, I am sorta done with term papers and standardized tests. </p>

<p>With my motivation slipping, am I best served by withdrawing all pending applications?</p>

<p>Why withdrawal? Once you have your options on the table you can evaluate what you really want to do. Wouldn’t it be better to choose to spend some time in a real job rather than being forced into it?</p>
