My Evaluation A still says "not processed". And the MIT website states that if they do not receive it by January 22, you should probably fax it in. Does this mean that they have processed all materials by January 22, and that I should assume that my letter has been lost? The reason I am hesitant in faxing my letter in is because I'll have to contact my teacher(who gave birth less than a week ago) and I really don't feel like bothering her with "hey can you fax something for me!" Or should I just wait it out a bit more and hope that MIT will eventually process it?

We have the same problem. My S’s Evaluation A and Secondary School Report appear as “not procecced”. We asked the school principal to do the SSR. He is very busy and we dont want to bother him unnessasarily. So, should we wait till the MIT announce that they have finished processing all the materials?.. How far is their backlog?

If I were you, I’d call/email the admissions office.
