Hi. Apparently college board has lost my daughter’s September SAT. I have called 5 times and cannot get a call back from the “case manager.” Has anyone beens successful with this type of situation? What did you do?
@Sonomom So sorry to hear this situation. Did they say it was lost–as in you will never get the score or just delayed? My D had an AP score that was delayed…no explanation. Her other scores came in on time, but one score was missing. Within a few weeks or a month the score was finally updated. It was strange, but received a score. Hopefully your D will also get a score eventually.
My D took the SAT subject tests on 10/03 and didn’t see the the scores posted on 10/16 as promised. I sent in a couple email to raise concern a few days ago but not replied. I called them today and was told that they will investigate and get back to us.
Hopefully, we will hear back from them but in the case of 1Lotus, 1 month is not acceptable.
@ttb1263 Unfortunately, SAT scores do not have a promised date of when they will come out. The College Board promises within 2-4 weeks, meaning your daughter’s score may just be delayed. The only cause for concern would be if they do not show up an entire month after taking the exam.
@ttb1263 I hope the score comes soon and that sending the emails helped. Let us know when you finally do receive her scores. I found the AP delay score really odd. She tested on the same day as the rest of the class (online because of covid this year) and had no troubles submitting. The teacher said that none of the others in that class were delayed. I just wonder what happened in her case and your D.
“Apparent” because they told you or because you are assuming?
Responses and next steps are very different in these two situations.
I am in same situation. My son’s school SAT score from Sept (9/23)has not been released yet. Have called CB few times. They keep telling its being ‘processed’. So anxious on what to do. All the best to you and your daughter.
Hi everyone. It turns out that my daughter’s SAT was “cancelled,” but she was not informed. It was an in-school test, so she confirmed with her school, took her admission ticket to the test, and took it. Then, College Board didn’t score it because it was “cancelled.” So-no score.
After 6 phone calls, I finally reached someone said they would help and perhaps we can get her score in a week or so. I would suggest to anyone that the first person on the help line is never going to be able to help you. They say that they will pass the message on to the “case manager” or that they will “red flag” the case, but I never got a return call. The only thing that worked in the end was to tell the answering service that they would have to hang up on me, because I wasn’t going to give up until I actually spoke with a supervisor. That way, I did eventually get a return phone call.
Still hoping we get a score before the Nov. 1 early deadlines…
I’m glad you got to the bottom of the issue and hopefully have the score ready before Nov 1st.
I did call them and got the whole run around “pass the message to someone high up” . Fortunately, my D only needs the SAT subject scores for a few schools that she will apply RD , so I’m going to wait until next Friday and give them a call again.
The scores came today
