I remember visiting Yale back in like sixth or seventh grade when my sister was looking at colleges. I fell in love with the school simply based on the campus and what the tour guide told us. I didn't even know it offered an unmatched academic experience!

Now I'm a junior. I went back today just to reaffirm my love for Yale (well, my dad said he'd take me to motivate me to do well on the PSAT next week :P). I went for the tour, asked a bunch of questions, and fell in love with everything from the story of how Yale was almost called Dummer College (and the students would've been called Dummies) to rubbing Hale's toe for good luck to snickering at Mother Yale stepping on the crimson rug in the library. I even took pictures on my cell phone of a pin that says BEAT HARVARD and a tshirt that says HARVARD DOES WHAT <picture of="" lollipop="">. I ended up buying a shirt (and one for my friend), eating lunch at Frank Pepe's The Spot and driving home satisfied on so many levels.</picture>

So, what made you guys decide to enroll? :)

Well, it's too late I guess. I think most people enroll because, well, they can. And they probably feel the same way that you do about the school. Everyone has his/her reasons though.

Ed Helms from The Daily Show said the exact same thing today about how Yale is like Hogwarts.. hehe.. oh well, I guess neither of you came up with it =p. But I can definetely see the parallel ;)
