Love / Hate Your AP Physics Textbook?

Do you love or hate the textbook that you used in your AP physics course?

Does anyone find them useful to study from for the exam?

Just wondering...

HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE!

Our book is not only old; nothing is given in AP convention (making it almost impossible to find the actual formula on the sheet). Everything is covered in general, but some parts you just wished they would have skipped because it's not covered on the AP and it just confuses you altogether!

I HAAAATE IT. (Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick and Walker)
So after a while I just totally abandoned that and turned to Princeton Review, which worked out much nicely than the poorly worded & not-making-sense text book.

I'm taking this course next year >.>. Anyone like their textbook / have suggestions for a year long plan?

It's good. covers what is needed. also a much shorter read than us history.

HATE. Our teacher is a complete nutcase - doesn't help/can't teach at all, so that's one flaw in our class.

Our book - Young & Freedman's University Physics is b-effing-s. seriously.
Doesn't help explain anything, examples aren't connected to the reading, and exercises (most of the time) make no sense.

I'm so screwed for this test >.<
Whatever, I'm treating it like a joke!

We use two books.

Physics by Saxon and Physics by Hecht.

I hate both of 'em. I just use princeton review.
