low AP scores-what to do?

hey guys,

I go to a really competitive public high school in NYC and I took three AP exams during my junior and got two 3's and one 2 on them. Are we required to report our AP exam scores to colleges? Is this rreally going to screw me over?

Are there any schools that disregard AP grades?

don't send them

Can you do that when the applications specifically ask. I've seen a bunch of apps that ask to list all APs that you took or plan to take this yr. THey ask you to list date of exam & score. Can you really leave that blank if you took the exams?

if you dont list them, what do colleges assume? do they assume that you received bad grades or decided not to take the exams? do they give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you passed with a 3 or 4?

If you don't list your scores, colleges assume you didn't pass the test at all or you simply didn't take it.
