Hi I am a photographer based in India. Currently looking at doing my Mfa in photography at a good school, preferably in new york.
My CGPA is really low at 2.4 but I have a great body of work and experience of a few years as a professional photographer and 2 years of assisting an established photographer in India.

I am quite interested in the photo global program that SVA has to offer, I also heard that they mainly consider your portfolio and statement of intent. Due to financial issues at home I have to solely depend on a scholarship. I am open to other schools as well as long as these schools are focused on dialogue, critique, discussion and thought processes. I am looking to expand my ability to articulate a thesis through my work and develop my outlook on art.

Please suggest a good school keeping in mind the financial aid. Is it possible for an applicant to receive 70-100 percent aid on his tution fee?
