So I have a 3.2 GPA but a strong upward trend. I managed to get 4.0s the last three semesters. I was wondering do UCs take this into consideration? or do they just look at the numbers? I’m going to explain this in my personal statements as well. I want to apply to UCSD, UCI, UCSB, and UCD.
did the rigor of your classes drastically increase along with your gpa?
UC’s only look at 10-11 grades so I’d imagine that would help you a ton.
Well here’s the thing my low GPA was for my previous major which was health science but I changed it to sociology, took classes pertaining to that major and got a 4.0 throughout. My low GPA stemmed from my requirement to take many chem and bio courses which were not my forte.
and thanks for a reply @rdeng2614 but I am a transfer student. lol
