<p>3.24 gpa (AGH)
I Estimate my SAT to be 1900+
Work for 3 charities for helping children and serving the poor.
Internship editing videos for 7+ months.
3rd place school-wide Poetry Slam winner.
Countless homemade games throughout my life.</p>

<p>I intended to major in Game Development but seeing as my math isn't soaring through the roof I think I'll put down as "video arts or communications" and switch majors if I get admitted.</p>

<p>Well lucky for you, you don’t need a very high GPA to get into the school you seem hellbent on getting into. So that’s good. And while a 1900 may not quite be the END of the world, it is still low (at least for my standards). But again, if UCSC is what you wish, then UCSC is what you’ll get. I think you meet the benchmarks for admission</p>

<p>UCSC is going to be hard to get into, especially with the low GPA. Is that your overall academic gpa(9-12) or your uc gpa (10-12)? See if you can get your SAT score above a 2000, it’d improve your chances. Your extracurriculars are a bit weak, and although UC’s are mostly statistical, they are starting to care a bit more about extracurriculars. Did you take any APs or SAT IIs? </p>

<p>It is a combination of 10-11th. Would they incorporate my senior year?
And also, I plan on doing more community service and starting a website. Do you think that would be impressive EC’s to put?</p>
