So I was diagnosed with ADD the end of my junior year. Because it was the end of my junior year, my parents didn't really go much into the issue during the summer, but I was put on medication. It hasn't really been working as I still can't focus when I do my homework and it really is a struggle for me. Plus, the medication I'm on gives me insomnia and that affects me even more because I sometimes am too tired and just collapse when I get home from school. I still aspire to go to good schools and I'm working as hard as I can now and hopefully will eventually find the right meds. Therefore, my GPA is a 2.86 from sophomore and junior year. My senior grades are not very good because of the stuff explained above. So what are my chances here? I'm from Massachusetts and my High School was ranked #1 high school a few years ago. My dad is a professor at Brandeis and the former chair of his department. Also, I have a lot of schools because I'm insecure about my GPA.
My best SAT scores in each category were a 640 in Math, a 640 in critical reading and a 600 in writing. MY ACT score was a 28.

I do a lot of extracurricular activities. I go to a very prestigious music school every Saturday, I play Piano, Alto and Tenor Sax, Clarinet and Bass Clarinet. I speed skate. I breakdance/hip hop. I DJ and mix music. I am teaching myself Italian. I went to the New York Film Academy. I went to a Piano Camp. I sing in an acapella group. I have a cashier job. I've been the accompanist for a middle school musical for five years. Also, I don't know if it matters, but I'm half asian. My writing skills are pretty good (my grades are the best in English).
