Hello. What are my chances of getting into UC Berkeley, Vanderbilt, or Dartmouth as a Latin/Classics major with a 3.6-3.7 unweighted GPA, 10 AP’s, 1550-1580 SAT, one dreadful C in honors chemistry 1st semester sophomore year (the rest are A’s and B’s), three unweighted 100’s in honors Latin, 30+ state/national Latin awards, school and state Latin Club leadership positions, strong participation in school drama productions, decent writing skills, and an unstable, abusive, bad childhood (which contributed to my horrendous GPA, particularly freshman and sophomore years)? If getting accepted into those schools seem too difficult, at which other schools with a good Classics department should I look? I want to become a Classics professor. Thank you!
