Low Math/Science Grades for Engineering

Basically just asking about what is in the title -- Should I apply to separate engineering schools or just to the Arts and Sciences school and major in, say, computer science? My higher grades tend to be in the humanities (language arts), although I am pretty sure that I want to be an engineering major.

One example would be Cornell. Would it be better for me, hypothetically, to apply to Cornell SOE or would I have a better chance at A&S?

What are your grades?
What is your SAT scores?
What courses are you taking in Math/science?

Engineering is all about math…if you are not strong in it you will have difficulties.

People who study CS are generally strong in math/science as well. What do you mean by ‘low’ grades? If you’re getting A-'s in math and A’s in your other subjects, that’s no big deal. If you enjoy that stuff then keep working at it and you’ll get better.
