I got my scores yesterday.710 in Chem and 640 in Math 2. I know they're low and I'm not really sure that I can improve my scores in Chem. The only school I'm applying to that requires SAT 2's is Carnegie Melon. So what do I do? Should I take Math 2 again or maybe try Math 1, which is easier? ( A lowish score in Math 1 like a 700 would have a greater percentile than a 700 in Math 2.

Bump

I would like to know how to improve my math 2 score as well - I only got a 680 on the October Math 2 test. Can anyone who did really well give advice?!

Math 1 isn’t easier, only the content is less. The questions in Math 2 are more straightforward.
The curve in Math 1 is much harsher. Try Math 2 again.

Get some coaching and try Math 2 and Chem in December.

Definitely do Math 2 again. The curve to get 700+ allows for almost 20 questions missed.
