Hello,

So, on my Chem SAT II, I received a 760...
But, on my Math 2 SAT II, I got a 670..
Considering there is a huge curve on this SAT II, should I retake it in Oct. b/f I start applying to colleges this fall?
I have a list of potential reaches, targets, and safeties, which include:
Columbia, NYU, Brown, Boston College, Drexel, Tufts, Rutgers NB (and pharm)...
I still need to filter/ revamp my list...
And, also, my SAT scores was 2140....

Thanks for Everything!! (Sorry, I posted something similar b/f, but I never got a response, so I'm posting again)

Yes, I would recommend retaking the math 2. Get it to at least a 720+. Your chem score is great though! Good luck.

hey fella, I gave Math 2, got 790. I would suggest that you give it again … its a 1 hour test anyway. Not much harm, right ? [for Columbia, NYU and Brown 670 might be low, but 760 is great nice]

you gave math 2 and you suggest that he should give it again?

how can someone mix up give and take

I would retake the 670 for a 750+. How is the breakdown of your SAT. 2140 is great but if you have below a 700 in any area you might want to retake.

@Panther5: I’m not sure what you mean, but if its english grammar its perfectly okay to ‘give a test’ or to ‘take a test’

for the 2140:
CR: 620, M: 770, W:750
I retook it and my CR stayed exactly the same, but my math dropped to 690 =(, making my overall scores 2050

I’ll definately retake Math 2, then…
