I don't know what it is, but I can't seem to do well on the math sat tests at all. Whether it is the regular SAT or the SAT Math II subject test, I just can't seem to leave the 640/650 range. The worst part is that I want to major in math centric subjects (physics/comp sci). I'm a senior so I have only one test date left and I don't know which test I should try to retake to prove I'm not bad at math. Can I even undo the damage I've done to myself at this point?

I don’t know if I’m qualified to answer this since I’ve never taken the real SAT but got an 80 on Math on the PSAT, but what I usually tend to do is rely on my own logic to solve this problem. If I can’t figure out x in terms of y, for example, then I plug in numbers from the top of my head and do the problem that way. Try to do the problems the way that doesn’t require you to do long calculations but rather be confident in your own abilities. It also requires thinking outside the box (at least for me anyway) A LOT. Try to do problems in new ways / and try to get to the root of the problem.

One last piece of info:
On the Hard level questions, 99% of the time EVERY piece of detail the problem gives you is ESSENTIAL to solving the problem.
