Low SAT's. Is FAU a possibility?

<p>I'm a senior and really looking forward to going to FAU in the fall of 2012, however my SAT scores are pretty low, 1270. It was my 1st time taking it. On the bright side, my GPA is a 3.7 and I took all Honor classes in my recent high school years. Will FAU accept me(or at least have a better chance of accepting me...) if I apply for early admission?</p>

<p>The only thing anybody can tell you is what’s on the Admissions website here. For instance, the average SAT range for last year’s class was 1510 - 1720.</p>

<p>FAU minimum scores for SAT:</p>

<p>Critical Reading 460
Math 460
Writing 440</p>

<p>If you’re lower than that, I don’t know if they’ll take you, but with your GPA, I would apply and take a chance. It’s only, what, $30 to apply? Take the chance. It’s worth it.</p>
