Hello! I’m currently a junior and in August 2019 I took the SAT and got a 1430. I am planning on applying to some highly selective schools (a few of the ivies) so I was hoping for higher. I tried a few ACT practice tests and found that I feel much more comfortable with that test but knew I probably wouldn’t be able to take the ACT until summer 2020 because my schedule during the school year is very hectic. Now it appears that I won’t be able to take the ACT at all but a lot of colleges are no longer requiring standardized tests. I know this score does not put me in a good place for competitive colleges but would it be better to submit this score than no score at all? Do you think these highly selective universities will actually have no bias against someone without a score? Any advice because I have absolutely no clue what to do other than hope I will be able to take the ACT this summer.
