Basically, I took the October SAT test and got wrecked. My math score was a 750 (definitely not my best but really not as bad compared to my CR and writing section). I usually do pretty well in writing, but I blanked out on the essay and wrote something pretty stupid and received an 8, and I usually miss two to zero for the multiple choice but I got wrecked there too. Critical reading has just always been a pain for me--my best score was a 710. I haven't shown any improvement in critical reading for about a month now... So basically, people who are good at CR and essay writing, please give me some tips on how I can improve my scores by January.

As an international, I used this guide to improve from a 630 on my first practice test, to a 740 on the real thing in just a month. I didn’t use any other study guide, just this thread and the practice tests from the blue book.
