Lowest GPA?

What's the lowest GPA you've seen an accepted applicant have? I've noticed a trend of above-average test scores and extracurriculars, but it definitely seems like the GPA is the stronger factor at NEU. I may be wrong on this, so I'd love to hear some opinions.

Thank you!

I don’t think that’s the case with GPA being the deciding factor. I have a relatively low GPA (higher test scores though), and got into Honors and a scholarship.

So what was it! Help us out please

I’d also really like to know this.

I have a 3.4 UW GPA and a 32 ACT score and am dying to hear back from NEU.

My unweighted GPA is a 3.7 and my weighted is around 4.3. I have a 33 ACT and a 2010 SAT.

…and you put my hopes up when you said low GPA.
smh.
I was thinking that you had a 3.1 or something lolz.

But it’s still helpful to know. Thanks for sharing!!

Oh, I’m sorry! I guess it’s my weighted GPA that was low. My unweighted is okay.

i had a 3.4 and a 30 and got in for business (early action)

Are there any exact ACT to SAT translations?

I heard that even 100% on the ACT is not the same as 100% on the SAT. That is why I am wondering.

I got accepted for political science about 2 weeks ago, i’m an international student so we dont have GPA’s but i got an A/ B/ C for my finals (im taking a gap year) and my SAT was 1640 (although NU doesnt look at SAT’s for International Students) Hope that helps!

There are plenty of ACT/SAT conversion charts out there. If I weren’t on my phone, I would copy and paste a link to one, but it’s pretty simple to pull one up on Google.
