Hey guys,
What do you think would be the lowest SAT score that would still get some one accepted. I know this is very vague etc but would a 2050 for example be too low, assuming every other aspect of the application is average standard?

I am not sure what you mean by “average standard.”
A 2050 SAT is definitely low for Penn. However, you should keep in mind that Penn tends to value gpa over test scores. The average high school gpa at Penn is about 3.90 (unweighted), which is the highest in the Ivy League. Also, your “Why Penn?” essay, rigor, demonstrated interest, and Extra Curricular activities are all important. I have never heard of a formal minimum SAT being stated. However, you could look on Naviance, if your school has it, and see what the lowest SAT admitted was. That could be helpful.
@sharecentury a good way to gauge is by looking ar the average sat score which is about 2200. i think a safe bet to make is that if you have below a 2100 and dont have a hook such as legacy, athlete, some seriously impressive achievement, minority, first year college, then your chances would drop dramatically.
