Long story short I messed up my GPA junior year by failing a few classes and dropped to a 3.4 Weighted after being at a 4.2 until then, I am making up some of the grades and was wondering how bad my chances at UCF are? I have lots of EC with leadership, tons of CS hours, 4/4 AP tests passed and taking three more this year and a 1760 on my SAT. Is there still hope?

I tell people this all the time. They dont care if you pass your APs, they only care about the grades. Now that being said your SAT score is good. Now you did fail some classes and had a significant drop in the GPA, is there a reason? Did you have some personal expierence, or were just plain distracted. Im usually a very truthful person and serve life with honor ( i play golf) , BUT you gotta do what you gotta do to achieve your goals, and if you have to make up a calculated excuse try it. The one stat that reflects your actual care for school is your SAT score so that tells them you are ready. They will see the timeline of your highschol career and say “something must have happened”. I would try to audit those classes. Let me guess FLVS?
