What are my chances?

So you are OOS. What is your uwGPA in UM’s calculation without subgrades?

Yes I am and the unweighted GPA according to Michigan is a 4.

Great. Your GPA is good and your course rigor is okay. Nevertheless, you may want ro bring up your test score a bit. UMich does not superscore. Even if it did, your score is only around admission average. So you chance would be not far off from the OOS admission rate which is around 20%.

thank you

I think your chances are excellent. Your course rigor, excellent gpa and athletics balanced with strong volunteer work look very good. Try the ACT…sometimes kids with strong science get a bit of an advantage with the ACT.

I did but I did not score as high because of the time constraints on the science and reading. Also my SAT without super score is a 1420.

SAT 1420 is slightly below admission average.

will they consider both scores in any way because i sent both?

How are you section scores? Having 710 in both is different from 620+800.

I got a 740 on math and 720 reading for the super score

however my best without super score is 740 math and 680 reading

Your Math score is near admission average while your reading is at 25th percentile. So it is likely a reach for you from OOS. Are you planning to retake SAT?

No i am not. I was unaware that Michigan doesnt superscore unti this chat
