@pokemon1 Your GPA is kind of low for Penn. the overall average of the incoming Penn class was 3.94 last year and 3.92 i think the year before that. i bet the avg gpa for LSM is even a bit higher. In terms of SAT, while 2310 and 2350 are well above the Penn average, they are not super impressive for LSM since so many LSM students have 2400s and the sat avg is in fact over 2310. what about SAT subject scores? u d need at the very least 750+ (ideally 780+) imo for LSM. your ECs are strong and your connection with Penn will prob help you a bit, not sure how much tho. id say you have a lowish/decent chance for LSM depending on your race. if you are asian i d say you have a lowish chance since all asian LSMers have absolute perfect or near perfect (3.95+, 2380+) scores, if you are non-asian, your chances come a bit more decent. for wharton i think you got a good/pretty good chance. good luck!

Traditional hooks, while may help during regular ED/RD, are generally not considered during LSM admissions. OP, your stats look fine. Your GPA will be evaluated in the context of your school. Spend lots of time on your LSM supplement, and be sure to articulate why the combination of business and life sciences is appealing to you (and how it fits with your career goals). Fit is the most important factor during selection process.
