<p>This question is one for current BS students: what type of luggage do you use? (i.e. duffel bag, huge rolling suitcase, multiple bags, etc). My parents and I are looking into buying some new luggage and I want to see what works best.</p>

<p>DS has one large (not huge) suitcase, one roller bag, one backpack. After move-in, we take the large suitcase back home with us. At spring break, he takes it back to school with him (puts roller bag in large suitcase and checks it) so he can use it when he brings his stuff home for summer break.</p>
<p>D has a maximum size wheeled suitcase that she stores on top of a big wardrobe unit in her room. It stays there till June. I don’t know if she’ll always have the storage space as she’ll be in a different dorm next year. But there might be storage space under the bed.</p>
<p>For traveling on breaks she has a duffel that is the max carryon size as long as she doesn’t stuff it full. I prefer duffels to rollers for carryon because they can more easily be fit into overhead compartments. She also has a large student day pack that fits under the seat (again, as long as it’s not crammed full). Her laptop fits in it and she uses it on campus too.</p>
