Ya, March is hella far off. (If you're not from CA, get ready to hear "hella" a lot, esp. from NorCal ppl like me.)

Anyone else interested in joining the Bruin Band, or is that just me?

Anyone else interested in joining the Bruin Band, or is that just me?

my cousin just got accepted to UCLA and UCB today, so I wouldn't say March

^ Highly unlikely since they release in March for everyone. Proof?

if I lost the letter with my sign in number and stuff... what do I do?

^ I think you can call and find out if you know your application number. The app number is still on the app receipt on University of California - Application. Just log back in and it should say near the top.

awesome thanks. I shall try that. Will be in CA in like 10 days anyways so that saves an international phone call :)

Ya, good idea. You might be able to e-mail then too, if you absolutely can't wait, but I don't know off the top of my head what the e-mail is.

No one in Southern California says "hella" or "hecka" that's allllllllllll Northern California lingo hahahahhahahaaaaaa.

I'm from Orange County, CA. Wooooooooooooo

Ya, that's why I said "from NorCal ppl like me."

The OC is nice. Did you apply to Irvine as well as UCLA?

Hahaha, oh, I didn't see that part. :)

Yes, i applied to UCI (I could literally walk there from my house), UCLA, UCB, and UC Davis...

Did you get the top 4% ELC thing? I did, and I wasn't expecting to, but I hope it helps me get in to at least UCLA... even though my first choice is USC. :D

How about you?

Ya, I'm ELC, guarenteed to UCI and UCD, as you should be.

Cal is honestly my first choice, but if Cal is a 10 then UCLA is a 9.75. I'd be happy at either, or any of the UCs I applied to.

USC = University of Spoiled Children :D

Hahahahaha, yeah that is true about USC but it still is a great school. :) What do you plan on studying?

Hey there!

I'm international and I have applied without a SAT II math II score! I am so not getting in!! I have a SAT II math I score of 720 (i mentioned it somewhere in the app.) but I didn't know the UC's were not accepting the math I as one of the subject tests...

I was totally screwed by the system........

^ Ya, I don't know what they want in terms SAT II Math, I took US History and English Lit.

Nagooya: I'm definitely thinking Philosophy (my first choice), and maybe doubling with English. I really like both subjects, so that's the plan for now. You?

Did anyone get a request for more information? I got supp essay questions in my email...I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

so you can call the admissions offices and ask if you've been accepted?

HI EVERYONE!! i just wanted to say hi and agree with everyone that march is centuries away and cannot come fast enough. Anyone have a time turner i can borrow???

^ Alas, my cousin meant to bring me one he nicked from Hogwarts, but he forgot it. I'll make him pay next time I see him though. :D

AW!! How can someone FORGET a time turner?!?! it's not some needledy peedledy ickkle thingg. haha make him pay big tiimeee. i think a little crucio will straighten him up a bit. ^_^ hahaaaa ok kidding. i think this waiting is making me a weee bit masochistic. But it looks like a trip to hogwarts is at hand! muahahaaa

so, is anyone here working on or finishing up or submitting any UC scholarship applications? just wonderin.

I'm done with Alumni Scholarships. Now I have to focus on local/regional ones. Sigh I was told last year that once school apps were in it would get so much easier, but now I'm spending even more time on essays and my teachers have all decided to bring out the major projects. Cr@p.
