I have 80% in my o levels (5As 2Bs and 1C) I gave 2 private exams (scored 2As) which I guess wouldnt count. 
my sat 1 score is 1560 and I did terrible on the SSE admission test, but do I have a chance to get into any other school/major? is there any third list or something… please help
@madhatter55 doesnt matter if theyre private or not. those grade count just as normal. you have really good o levels.
ive noticed abhi its the A*s ones getting in. 3rd list comes out around in July.
SSE is a tough school to getinto.

As everyone’s been telling their part of the story. Here’s mine too.
I had 3As in my O’levels and 5Bs. The As were in Physics, Mathematics and English Language. I did an internship in Germany in Mechatronics Engineering and IT solutions. My sat score was 1670.
However, I have applied to the engineering school in LUMS and haven’t received a conditional acceptance yet. So, I wanted to ask is there any chance that I get in?
I’m currently taking my CIEs(A’level)

Thanks bro but my Olevel grades look a bit weak, although like you I’ve scores A grades in major subjects such as economics and accounting. Let’s just be hopeful and wait @regentcookie

Can’t say anything to be honest, have just been observing credentials of accepted students since last year.
They’ve definitely put a lot of focus on O levels even if you have a weak SAT score.
haven’t seen anyone getting in with less than all A’s in olevel, yet.
but offers go out even till August so of course they’ll focus on the students with higher credentials right now.
The business school and engineering schools are the toughest to get into.
SAT 1 wouldn’t really be their primary focus for engineering but the SSE test will be.

@regentcookie id like to say your internship will make your application better. but LUMS does essentially focus on academic credentials.
even my o levels are a let down. 2 A* 2 A 2 B sat score 1720.
Not really expecting much now 
How they evaluate decisions is just a guess game for us. Hopefully things work out for us all.
