<p>no. but thats good!! you are very close to getting into lawrenceville!!! i got wait listed too, but im like at the bottom at the list(unhappy faces) but happy faces for you.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, it seems that a number of people have gotten a similar letter over the years that said that they were high on the Lawrenceville list. see these past theads.
I thought people did eventually get off the wait list in years past.</p>

<p>I got waitlisted, but my letter didn’t say that. 
Its my 1st choice too… this day has majorly sucked.</p>
<p>dont worry, believe it or not the waitlist has been made for a reason! im sure i dont get what you guys are going thru, i was first accepted my application year, but i know some students who are now here from the waitlist.</p>
<p>my daughter was waitlisted 2 yrs ago but did get accepted on the last possible day. we were ready to commit to another school. my suggestion is to stay in touch with admissions and if you receive any awards or start participating in anything NOT mentioned on your application, tell them about it. emphasize without being annoying, that lville is your first choice. good luck!</p>
