Hi I’m a Michigan resident with a 3.87 GPA, 6 AP’s, 32 ACT, 2 sports and 1 club with leadership roles. How likely is it that I’ll be accepted into this program?
In terms of being “accepted” into Lyman Briggs it is more a matter of applying as early as possible and putting LB as your major. There are not different standards for admission to this college within MSU. Atleast that was how it was when my son applied, he is now a LB junior. FYI you can take a Briggs specific tour in the fall which will give you a good inside look at the program and Holmes Hall.
@vsb1225 is right, apply early and you will be fine.
Lyman Briggs (and all other residential colleges in MSU) are a first come first serve basis, and so if you are accepted into MSU, you will be accepted into Briggs if there is room. (I know this was asked a long time ago, but in case anyone else is wondering the same question, I thought I would try to clarify)
