M.S. Applied Anatomy

I am about to start my first yr. of med school in July. In some of the forums about cirriculum, the possibility of pursuing an MD/M.S. in Applied Anatomy was mentioned. The director of the program told me that it gave students a solid foundation in anatomy (Case Western is PBL) and that it was a good idea for students interested in surgery, which I am. I was just hoping I could get some input from people as to the pros and cons of an M.S.

Thanks!

I think you'd be best served by talking to students at your medical school. You probably won't have to sign up right away, so maybe ask some second years when you have a chance.
